This week, members of the BRENDA team will be attending the Beilstein STRENDA Commission Meeting in Rüdesheim, Germany. STRENDA – Standards for Reporting Enzymology Data – brings together international experts in enzymology, biochemistry, enzyme nomenclature, bioinformatics and related fields to improve the quality and reproducibility of enzyme data reported in the scientific literature.

Dr. Antje Jäde has been appointed as a new member of the STRENDA commission (Beilstein Institute) this year. STRENDA stands for “Standards for Reporting Enzymology Data” (standards for reporting on enzymological data).
